ماذا يقول فمك عن أمراضك؟

أصبحت صحة الفم أكثر أهمية من قبل وذلك بعد أن توصّلت العديد من الدراسات إلى كشف أمراض الفرد من خلال صحة الفم التي تعكس بشكل مباشر ما يحدث في أماكن أخرى من الجسم. ويمكن لأمراض اللثة مثلاً أن تكون خير دليل لإصابتك بمرض السكري أو الأمراض المنقولة جنسياً. بعد أن سبق وقدّمنا لك في الجزء الأول من موضوعنا "شخّصي أمراضك من خلال فمك!" بعض الأمراض التي قد يكتشفها فمك، تعرّفي معنا في ما يلي على قسم من الأمراض والمشاكل الصحية الأخرى:

- بقع الأسنان:

الأمر ليس جمالياً فحسب، إذ على الرغم من أنّ بقع الأسنان قد لا تكون خطيرة إلّا أنّها تشير إلى اجتياح الجراثيم لفمك ما يعني رفع احتمال إصابتك بأمراض اللثة.

- الأسنان الحساسة:

يمكن للمشروبات الساخنة أو الباردة أو المواد الغذائية أن تتسبّب بألم في الأسنان ولكن إذا كنت غالباً ما تشعرين بهذا الألم فقد يكون السبب تجاويف في السنّ، إذا تركت من دون علاج قد تمتدّ إلى الأنسجة المحيطة بالعصب.

- النزيف:

إذا كت تلاحظين بضع بقع من الدم عند غسل أسنانك بعد تنظيفها بالفرشاة أو الخيط فقد يكون السبب الضغط بقوة عليها. ولكن إذا كنت تجدين أنّ كمية الدم تظهر بشكل واضح ودائم فيجب عليك مراجعة طبيب الأسنان وذلك لأنّ اللثة الدامية قد تكون علامة على التهاب الفم أو التهاب اللثة.

- القروح:

تعتبر قروح الفم مزعجة ومؤلمة ولكنّها غالباً ما تختفي من تلقاء نفسها بعد أيام من دون أن تخلّف أي ضرر في الفم. ولكن إذا لاحظت ظهور قروح أو بقع بيضاء داخل أو حول الفم تدوم لأكثر من ثلاثة أسابيع فيجب عليك مراجعة طبيبك وذلك لأنّها قد تشير إلى الإصابة بفيروس الورم الحليمي البشري التي قد تؤدّي إلى سرطان الفم.

أسباب عدم سقوط أسنان الحليب قبل سنّ البلوغ

غالباً ما لا تربطين بين أسنان الحليب ومرحلة البلوغ ولكن ما قد تجهلينه هو أنّ هذه الأسنان قد تلازم العديد من الأشخاص حتّى بعد مرحلة الطفولة وسيكون لديهم اثنتين أو أكثر منها جنباً إلى جنب مع أسنانهم الأخرى الدائمة. وهنا من الضروري التساؤل: هل هذا أمر غير مألوف؟

نظراً لامتلاك الكثير من الأشخاص أسنان الحليب حتّى في سنّ الأربعين إذاً إنّ الأمر طبيعي ومألوف. نعم، إنّ النمط الطبيعي هو سقوط هذه الأسنان لتترك مكانها لأسنان البلوغ وغالباً ما يبدأ ذلك في سنّ السادسة وحتّى المراهقة، ولكنّ الأمور لا تسير دائماً كما هو مخطّط! وهذا يعني أنّه بإمكان شخصٍ ما أن يدخل مرحلة البلوغ مع أسنانه الدائمة إضافة إلى بعض أسنان الحليب.

ولكن ما السبب وراء ذلك؟ إنّ أحد الأسباب المحتملة هو غياب الأسنان الدائمة التي ستحلّ مكان أسنان الحليب، إذ عادةً ما تسقط هذه الأخيرة لتفسح المجال أمام الأسنان التي تقع تحتها بالظهور. ولكن في هذه الحالة ما من سنّ تخترق اللثة لتسقط تلك التي برزت قبلها، لذلك تبقى أسنان الحليب مكانها.

أمّا السبب الآخر لهذه الحالة فقد يكون وجود السنّ الدائمة تحت اللثة ولكن عدم قدرتها لسبب ما على اختراق هذه الأخيرة لتتّخذ موقعها الجديد، وعندها ستبقى أسنان الحليب مكانها كما سبق وذكرنا.

ولأنّ لكلّ مشكلة حلّ، يمكن اللجوء إلى الطبيب المختصّ بتقويم الأسنان ليقوم بتقويم أي سنّ قد تكون خارج مكانها الصحيح لتتمكّن من اختراق اللثة لاحقاً أو أنّه قد يقلع أسنان الحليب ليتيح أمام الأسنان الدائمة، إذا ما وُجدت، فرصة شقّ اللثة والبروز.

قد تكون العين نافذة للروح، ولكنّ الفم هو الباب العريض لاكتشاف أمراض الجسم. وعلى الرغم من أنّك قد تجدين صعوبة في إيجاد رابط بين سقوط الأسنان والنوبة القلبية مثلاً، إلّا أنّ ما يجب عليك معرفته هو أنّ ما يدور في فمك يمكن أن ينبئ بالعديد من الأمراض التي أصابتك أو أنك عرضة للإصابة بها.

- رائحة الفم:

في أكثر من 90% من الحالات تنبع رائحة الفم من البكتيريا الموجودة على اللثة أو على سطح اللسان أو تحت الأسنان الإصطناعية. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، من الممكن أن تشير رائحة الفم إلى العديد من الحالات الطبية ومنها:
• رائحة أقرب إلى أن تكون حلوة الطعم: إشارة إلى إصابتك بقصور في الكبد.
• رائحة أشبه برائحة البيض الفاسد: تنتج من التهاب المعدة والقرحة.
• رائحة شبيهة برائحة التفاح الحلو الناضج: إشارة لاحتمال إصابتك بمرض السكري.

- اللسان:

التغيّرات في اللسان يمكن أيضا أن تشير إلى الإصابة بمرض. فاللسان شاحب اللون، المالس والطري يمكن أن يشير إلى نقص في الحديد أو فيتامين B12، ما يعني احتمال إصابتك بفقر الدم. أمّا الأشخاص الذين يعانون من مرض كرون والتهاب القولون التقرحي فقد يلاحظون تقرّحات صغيرة على ألسنتهم. وإذا ظهرت تشققات على اللسان أشبه بخريطة جغرافية، فالأرجح من أنّك تعانين من اضطرابات المناعة الذاتية مثل مرض الصدفية أو الذئبة الحمامية القرصية.

- الأسنان:

يمكن لظهور شروخ في الأسنان أن يشير إلى مشكلة طحن الأسنان، صريف الأسنان أو التوتر. أمّا الأشخاص الذين يعانون من الشره المرضي العصبي أو البوليميا فيُلاحظ فقدان لمينا الأسنان الأمامية لديهم نتيجة تعرّضها لحمض المعدة الناجم عن القيء المتكرر.
